HOW TO WRITE AN EFFECTIVE CONCLUSION

Introduction and conclusion both play a significant part in the essay as they both act as the outer frame of our essay. Hence, they should be composed carefully. Introduction helps to take the reader from the tangible life of the discussion of your analysis, and the conclusion brings the reader back from the lieu of your analysis to the real life. As both of them frame our essay, therefore they are really difficult to write compared to the main body of the essay.

The most important component of an essay is the conclusion.Because it is the final opportunity to persuade the reader to impress them. And this will render the final effect that sticks with your reader after they have completed the essay. A conclusion is not merely the last section of the essay, but it is also  a working portion of the essay that will leave the reader to recollect more or less the matter deeply. So you should write it so perfectly that your readers feel glad, and they appreciate you personally.

Before writing your conclusion, read your theme again, concentrating primarily on the first appearance. Think of the thesis and ask yourself what your paper aimed to establish. In the body of your essay, look at the details you noted as evidence for your dissertation.

Most of us find difficult to write the ending, because it is done at the final stage, when our creativity is moving low. So there are many strategies that will assist you to compose an efficient ending.

Firstly, you should restate your thesis, it doesn’t imply that you just copy your thesis and paste it, restating means to synthesize it, don’t summarize. Briefly summarizing your topic may be useful only in the long essay, like an essay with more than 20 pages or a dissertation, but short essays require only the principal idea and the primary goal. If a reader doesn’t have time to get through the full long essay, then your conclusion should be written so efficiently that by just reading the conclusion he could get an idea of the essay.

You should be absolved from the beginning to the ending of the essay about what you want to emphasize your reader. Sometimes we create a mix-up about the principal idea and the goal of the essay. To avoid these things we should practice a simple oral communication and direct approach of stating our goal.

Since, the conclusion is the final portion of our essay to impress our reader, we should end it with a positive note. This positive note will be helpful to create an overall encouraging and attractive essay.

Try to conclude with a powerful quotation, and then this will make your conclusion more effective. The last sentence leaves your reader with a memorable final thought. It should motivate the reader to keep guessing about your paper, even though he is reading it.

The conclusion is the last opportunity to motivate a reader to obtain an action on what your paper discussed. Be specific in what you want the reader to do; for example, “increasing employment will directly help the poor people to live their life in a happier way. If your topic is “how to improve the lifestyle of poor people”.

Therefore, it is also more upright to propose a form of action, a solution to an event, or queries for further cogitation in your essay. This can redirect your reader’s thought process and aid him/her to apply your information and ideas to his/her life or to experience the wider implications.

To compose a proper conclusion, you should admit the importance of the essay. You should be able to communicate the significance of your statement by referring it to the bigger arena of interrogation. Finally, try your best to supply an optimal solution of the problem.

Also, offer some suggestions based on the future on what you have argued, it allows the reader to see the meaningfulness of your argument, by looking at your future predictions, a reader will consider and understand your argument long after they have finished reading it.

There are many things that you should avoid while writing a conclusion.
You should never start with phrases such as “in conclusion or, in summary”, Although these phrases can work in speech, but we should not use this phrase in starting off an essay.

You should always avoid introducing new material in the conclusion. The ending is the space totally up or wrap up your theme, do not throw any extra ideas. If you want to add addition material adds it in another body paragraph and expands it in the effective manner. Your goal should be fixed from introduction to the final. For case, if your paper is more or less the value of school sports and, in the body paragraphs, discusses only football and hoops, don’t consider volleyball in the ending because that’s totally new data. Your conclusion should build on what you wrote earlier, but not take readers down an entirely new course.

The second point that you should preserve in mind while writing conclusion is that you should not apologize for what you have already argued. If you have created a thesis and given evidence to defend your stance then, you have met the readers’ expectations. Finishing your essay by apologizing for your argument will distract the reader’s head.

Do not end with a mystery, leaving the reader feeling unsatisfied.you should explain your goal in such a way that the reader feels all the questions have been solved and cleared. The Reader does not expect a mystery in the end, but he expects an analytical discussion and an optimal solution of your topic in an academic style, with the main thesis stated on the front.
