Assessment Description

For this course you need to choose an organisation which you will analyse for
Assessment 1 and 2.
The choice is:
 The Case Study – BHP Billiton
 Or a business you know well and are able to access the necessary information required to
complete the assessment successfully. If you want to do this option you must make an
appointment with your Lecturer to confirm that you can use the business. 
You are to write a report on your chosen business which gives examines the key trends and
“dimensions of the external and internal contexts in which both the strategy … and the strategy
process are embedded’ (Okemus, Altinay & Chathoth, 2010, p. 39).
